I am an abstract artist in Austin, Texas. After formally studying fashion design, I moved to New York City to pursue a career in Fashion Design. Starting with an internship with Catherine Malandrino, and landing a full-time assistant Design position at Mario Moya, I developed my love for design and detail. Eventually returning home to Texas, I launched a design business out of my south Austin bungalow. Following the birth of my son, I found myself exploding with creativity and discovered a passion for the medium of acrylic on canvas when I painted giraffe for his nursery.

My art has always embodied two contradicting sides; freedom of movement and the rigid focus of detail.  These two opposing sides in my work create a unique mosaic style I call my own. In the studio I lay down the collage of pigment freely with a palette knife, choosing colors that fit my mood. As I step away from the canvas, the shapes take form. Magic comes to life as the shapes of color delicately outlined, overlap and collide creating mindful chaos and wonder. My work is soulful bringing light, love, and warmth to any space. My formal education includes a Bachelors of Fine Arts from University of North Texas.
